This coming March Galerie Michel Descours will be taking part in TEFAF Maastricht for the first time. We will have the pleasure of bringing together some thirty prints and drawings in the Works on Paper section, with special emphasis on French art from the 17th to the 20th century.

An exceptional joint presentation will unite Nicolas Chaperon's Une Famille de satyres with its preliminary drawing, while other items include an Etude d’Arabe (1846) by Théodore Chassériau, a large drawing by François-Xavier Fabre (Le Martyre de saint Agnès) and a pair of pastel still lifes – hunting trophies – by Antoine Berjon. For the 20th century we will be showing a major preliminary drawing for Hans Bellmer's La Philosophie dans le boudoir and a study for Balthus's La Chambre.
